Presentation

The Simien Mountains, located in northern Ethiopia, are a natural treasure of spectacular beauty. This mountain range is characterized by its rugged peaks, dizzying cliffs and deep valleys, creating a breathtaking landscape that will take your breath away. The highest point, Ras Dashan, rises over 4,500 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding mountains.

Although Simien is in Africa and not too far from the equator, snow and ice appear on the highest peak and nighttime temperatures often fall below freezing.
